LANGUAGE FIELD
local image-generation instrument for visual discovery

Prompt a place.
Explore the field around it.

FIELD EXPLORER is a local image generator built for visual discovery. Start with a prompt, then move through related possibilities using multidimensional controls to discover an image’s potential beyond what the prompt alone can reveal.

A prompt can find the region. FIELD lets you stay there and investigate.
01 · navigation

Traverse the model
as a landscape.

FIELD turns image generation into a process of navigation, fine observation and discovery. Position, depth, variation, image influence and saved states become dimensions you can move through, compare and revisit.

01 / LOCATE

Prompt a starting region

A prompt establishes the first location. From there, the image becomes a place with neighbouring possibilities to investigate.

02 / TRAVERSE

Follow the relationships

Move through position and depth, introduce image influence and observe how structures, compositions and interpretations shift.

03 / MAP

Preserve discoveries

Save images with their FIELD address, keep useful states and return to regions that invite further exploration.

02 · observation

See what changes
when you move.

A location is not a single finished answer. Move around it, watch structures and interpretations shift, and follow the directions that become interesting.

03 · relational states

Orbit a location
through relationships.

Hold the place. Change the relationship.

Explore alternate dimensional relationships around a location by changing how its saved states influence the generation.

04 · surface tutorials

Learn the instrument.

Short walkthroughs for the surface of the instrument. The full FIELD guide is the same guide supplied with the application.

Introduce an image

Bring an image into the field and watch its influence reshape the region.

Orbit relationships

Hold a location while saved states shift the relational conditions around it.

Map and return

Mark a discovery, move elsewhere, then return to its FIELD address.

Setting a blend state

A state is a saved combination of Noise, Variety and their render-stage influence. Save different states, assign them as relational directions, then move between their influence around the same location.

Traversing by Plane and Relation

Plane moves window-to-window across a fixed, addressed field. Relation traverses the connections from the relationship you are currently in toward another relational dimension; each step begins from where you are, so the path is built through relationships rather than across a fixed sheet.

Build a collection

Use a chosen region and its relationships to develop a family of related outputs.

05 · instrument

An instrument for
creative observation.

FIELD EXPLORER is a local visual instrument for exploring an image model as a navigable field. Prompt a starting point, move through nearby relationships, change depth, introduce images, plot paths and return to places worth exploring further.

Local. Compatible models and creative work remain on your own machine.
Spatial. Position and depth give exploration a navigable structure and discoveries an address.
Relational. Saved states become directions whose influence can be traversed continuously around a location.
Observable. Noise, Variety, image influence and growth expose different ways a region can develop through the render.
Mapped. Save images with their FIELD address and return to regions that deserve another look.
There is more inside a model than a sequence of finished images. FIELD is built to spend time inside the relationships between them.
FIELD EXPLORER · 1.0

Born from years of experimentation.

FIELD EXPLORER grew from years of exploring generated images as places rather than endpoints. Version 1.0 opens that practice into an instrument for traversing, observing and mapping the model landscape — enter a region, plot a path, follow what changes and preserve what you discover.

The landscape is larger than any one interface can reveal. This is the beginning of the exploration.

FLUX.2 Klein 4B

FIELD currently feels strongest with FLUX.2 Klein 4B, making it a good first model to explore. Download the model, its VAE and the Qwen3-4B text encoder after installing FIELD.

After FIELD is installed: place all three downloaded files in FIELD’s models folder, then open FIELD and rescan/select the model. Keep the downloaded filenames unchanged.

Model files are downloaded directly from Black Forest Labs and Comfy-Org on Hugging Face and are not bundled with FIELD EXPLORER.
